Drawing on the perspectives of both students and teachers, this chapter explores the potential of a multicomponent positive psychology intervention (MPPI) designed to promote well-being, strengthen mental resources, and foster peer connections during adolescence. The intervention course includes theory, practice and individual and group work sessions that focus on well-being, stress management, character strengths, mindset, resilience, self-compassion, and self-efficacy. The qualitative data and thematic analysis from the focus group interviews, classroom observations, and individual student interviews revealed that both teacher engagement and student engagement, combined with diverse and sufficient opportunities for active student participation, are essential for fostering a dynamic learning environment and the successful implementation of such an MPPI. This study highlighted how the teachers’ approach shaped the classroom atmosphere, influenced student development, and fostered peer connections within the group. In this chapter, we discuss practical perspectives of pedagogical strategies to promote the successful implementation of such interventions, and emphasize the importance of active participation, inclusive practices, and a supportive environment. The findings of our study offer guidance for designing interventions that enhance well-being, academic engagement, and peer connections among adolescent students.

摘要
