In recent years, integrating educational technology and adaptive learning has become increasingly important. In response to this need, the study seeks to investigate a comprehensive analysis using bibliometric analysis to present the most influential research trends, key contributors, and high-quality publications. Using the data retrieved from the Scopus database, this review covers a period from 2013 to 2023, exploring the most cited works and the most impactful authors in educational technology and adaptive learning. Additionally, this study employs VOSviewer software to create visualizations of keyword mapping, co-citation analysis, and collaboration networks. Research findings reveal the growing significance of educational technology and adaptive learning in enhancing the education system. Additionally, the study also uncovers the geographical distribution of the research. The results highlight several important research concerns, such as learning systems, e-learning, students, computer-aided instructions, adaptive learning, and teaching. This study provides valuable insights for decision-makers, educators, and researchers, leading to better analysis and a deeper understanding of this field.
