Entrepreneurship and sustainable development have come together to create a new field, “sustainable entrepreneurship.” Increasing the number of people starting their own businesses is critical to a country’s progress. In terms of job creation, boosting the economy, launching new businesses, and influencing social evolution, the success of entrepreneurship is critical for nations. Sustainable entrepreneurship (SE) is based on the acceptance that long-term environmental and social results and impact are as important as short-term economic ones. Recently, with advances in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), several researchers recommend AI-based techniques for sustainable development. The objective is to understand the current state of the subject by characterizing bibliographic records indexed in the Scopus and WoS databases. Microsoft Excel and VOSviewer were used for data analysis and visualization. The results indicate that the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning methods and algorithms for sustainable entrepreneurship is limited. Therefore, the development of a methodology for sustainable entrepreneurship that incorporates AI emerges as a promising avenue for research.
