The dyeing industry had become a major economic source, with textile manufacturing and dyeing operations during 19th century. One of the critical aspects in the dyeing process is the usage of a boiler to heat the water. The water is boiled to produce steam and the dirty particles inside that will be deposited at the bottom of the boiler during steam production. So, the efficiency of the boiler will decrease and it will damages the boiler. To increase the efficiency there is a need for the removal of sludge requires man power is hazardous in high temperature and pressure situation. So, an automation is required to remove the sediments of sludge periodically. The proposed work is the automatic sludge removal process by using a gate valve controlled by the Node MCU and temperature sensor, load cell are used for sensing the steam temperature and weight of the sludge which is displayed in the mobile with the help of IOT. The automatic process of actuating gate valve at periodic interval of fixed time period. Using a Node MCU, gate valve is used for automatic sludge removal process in the dyeing industry is economical, increasing production efficiency and reducing time consumption with minimal human intervention. It is better than traditional methods involving human intervention.
