Spinal cord injuries (SCI) present in varying trauma demographics, and each of these populations has their unique factors that may influence the incidence and presentation of injury, diagnosis, and the subsequent management. This chapter delves into the intricacies of SCI in four specific demographics: older adults, pregnant patients, pediatric patients, and patients presenting with polytrauma.
