Smart Contact Lenses and Eye Implants
摘要
Lenses worn or implanted in the eye have garnered increasing attention in recent years due to their ability to wirelessly provide real-time data on intraocular pressure, glucose levels in tears, and biomarkers of various diseases. This chapter provides an overview of the progress in this field. A few examples discussed include contact lenses with integrated glucose sensorsSensors and displays, theranostic contact lenses for glaucoma treatment, intraocular lens (IOL)-based sensorsSensors for detecting aqueous humor (AH) biomarkers, implantable IOL pressure sensorsSensors, and contact lenses for human–machine interaction (HMI), among others.
