Quantum Machine Learning Applications
摘要
One of the most advanced fields to date, Quantum Machine Learning (QML), balancing the power of quantum computing and artificial intelligence, has an application base across the industries and is definitely at the top of the line. This chapter of the book presents the real-world effect of QML, by the use of which it has changed the healthcare, finance, and the supply chain management fields and thus transformed them. QML achieves this nadir of computing power by employing quantum principles like superposition, entanglement, and quantum gates that drive the generation of algorithms outpacing classical methods in computational science and math. By means of QML, pharmaceuticals have been cut length of time needed for molecular simulations, which has led to an improvement in financial risk analysis through portfolio optimization. Elaborating on this, QML is already a big player in the whole industry. In supply chain management, it automates logistics and optimizes resource distribution, which enhances the efficiency of operations. A comprehensive study of quantum algorithms embracing Quantum Support Vector Machines (QSVM) and Vibrational Quantum Algorithms (VQA) further illustrates their successful application. QML is a technology with a big future but still facing obstacles, for example, hardware constraints, data preparation intricacies, and scalability hurdles. For that reason, hybrid quantum–classical systems are emerging as a means of addressing the currently existing technological divide. QML promises to be a game-changer in Industry 4.0, with its novel advancements likely to affect many different areas. This chapter is a detailed study of QML applications, illustrating the connection of quantum computing theory with real-world implementation. It closes with case studies and future research directions, delivering invaluable information on the ever-changing state of quantum machine learning.
