Kiln-Free Thermal Insulation Materials Based on Expanded Rock and Cellulose Production Wastes
摘要
The processes of production of heat-insulating materials obtained on the basis of natural rocks of volcanic origin—perlite, vermiculite and lignosulfonates, which are secondary products of cellulose production, obtained by foaming of polymeric materials, are investigated. The research of raw components by methods of drying, weighing, viscosity and density determination was carried out. The optimum compositions of raw material mixtures for production of heat-insulating materials on the basis of expanded perlite sand and sulphite-yeast digestion, which is a waste product of cellulose production, have been determined. The density of the products was 350–360 kg/m3, compressive strength 0.71–1.08 MPa, water absorption 52%, which indicates a sufficiently high performance characteristics of the obtained material.
