Introduction of Innovative Recultivation Technology for Tailings Storage Surfaces and Creation of Forest Plantations for Multiple Use of Forests in the Far Eastern Federal District
摘要
The article summarizes the results of long-term studies aimed at solving the urgent problem of the region of provision with forest resources for the forest industry in certain areas of Russia, including the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD). A successful solution to this issue lies in the creation of plantations, including on the reclaimed surface. Therefore, the goal of the research was to introduce innovative reclamation technologies on technogenic formations for the further creation of forest-raw material plantations in the conditions of the FEFD. The methodological basis for studying this problem was the doctrine of Academician V.I. Vernadsky on the biosphere and noosphere. Experimental studies were carried out in the greenhouse of the Far Eastern Research Institute of Forestry and in the field on the reclaimed surface of the tailings dump using a composition (to improve the efficiency of reclamation) containing biochar, zeolites, technogenic components (ore processing waste) and, additionally, bioactivated carbon and brewing waste were used as organic sorbents. On the reclaimed surface of the tailing dump, cuttings of acclimatized poplar of the Voronezh selection and seedlings of tree crops were planted and watered with bioactivators. The results of the autumn inventory showed a satisfactory condition of all planted plants, but the highest rooting and survival rates were found in poplar cuttings in variants using Rostivin. Experimental studies have proven the possibility of successful plantation forest cultivation of tree plantations for the forest industry. An application for an invention has been filed and a Russian Patent has been received.
