Intraoperative Management of the Gastroduodenal Artery
摘要
Post-pancreatectomy hemorrhage is one of the most dreaded complications following pancreaticoduodenectomy. While rare, bleeding from the gastroduodenal artery (GDA) can be devastating and is associated with high mortality rates. This chapter first provides an overview of the current classification and treatment of GDA hemorrhage. It then delves into the intraoperative management of the GDA, with specific focus on the approach during minimally invasive pancreatoduodenectomy, including helpful tips when applying this technique in practice.
