Comparative Higher Education: An Overview of Internationalisation and ‘Policy Borrowing’ in the Field
摘要
Marshall takes a comprehensive look at the topic of policy borrowing in the field of comparative higher education. Focussing on the internationalisation of higher education (including degree apprenticeships), the chapter delves into the key drivers, actors and challenges in the internationalisation of the curriculum in particular. As well as deconstructing and critiquing key concepts associated with an internationalised curriculum, the chapter concludes with a look to the future and questions the contribution of an internationalised curriculum in preparing individuals to meet the economic challenges in a globalised world for many years to come.
