The work investigates the main indicators of innovative development and digital transformation of the Russian Federation, which are implemented within the framework of national projects. Summing up the implementation of the first project «Digital Economy», it can be noted that the level of achievement of target indicators and results of the national project was 99.34%. In most areas, the planned indicators were achieved. In five areas (training of IT personnel, Internet accessibility, online public services, electronic document management), the planned indicators were achieved by 100%. In one area (digital profile of a citizen), the level of achievement of indicators was 97.5%. The work analyzes the ratings of digital maturity and innovative development in the context of individual regions. It is noted that there is a regional imbalance in innovative development and digital transformation. The work notes that for successful innovative activity and ensuring the digital maturity, it is necessary to systematically and widely create innovative and digital infrastructure facilities, coordinated work at the regional and federal levels. This will avoid lagging behind individual regions. For sustainable development, it is necessary to provide support for regional initiatives and disseminate the most successful practices for the development of innovations and digitalization in other regions.
