The purpose of the work is to analyze the key problems associated with the implementation of digital solutions in the field of industrial production. This is especially important for many enterprises, as there are problems associated with outdated technologies. For the further development of digital technologies, financial support from the state is needed. Today, the percentage of investments in the development of digital economic activity is growing. Therefore, this proves that Russia is striving to keep up with global trends, which will increase the country’s competitiveness. The authors consider a problem of using digital technologies in industrial enterprises of Russia. This topic is especially relevant in the context of the changing economic situation and some backwardness of Russia in terms of the development and practical application of digital technologies and developments. Since there is a huge number of industrial enterprises in Russia, they can cover the needs not only within the country, but also produce products for other countries, however, production technologies do not allow bringing production volumes to the required level, outdated developments and machines are often used, in addition to high energy costs, such outdated technologies require increased human resources, which is why the need to introduce digital technologies in the Russian industry is especially acute at the moment.
