The contribution presents a comprehensive analysis of modern trends in the digitalization of postgraduate education, based on the latest scientific research. The work investigates in detail innovative technologies that are radically transforming the system of additional professional training: adaptive online platforms, intelligent AI-based systems, immersive VR/AR simulators, blockchain certification and modular microlearning formats. Particular attention is paid to benefits of digital transformation, including possibilities of an individual approach to learning, the elimination of geographical barriers and the formation of practice-oriented competencies. The analysis reveals significant implementation problems: low motivation of students, the risk of superficial assimilation of knowledge, technological difficulties among representatives of older age groups, as well as skepticism of employers towards alternative forms of certification. Based on the analysis of six relevant studies, strategic development directions are proposed: creation of blended educational models, implementation of digital adaptation programs, development of generally recognized standards for assessing digital competencies. This work is of interest to heads of educational institutions, developers and researchers of the digital transformation of education. The authors substantiate the need for a balanced approach that combines technological innovations with the preservation of fundamental principles of pedagogy.
