Analysing Geomechanical events reported in Daily Drilling Reports (DDRs) is essential for operational planning to prevent non-productive time and economic losses. This work describes an automated tool that leverages natural language processing, ontologies and Knowledge Graphs to extract such events along with their contextual data. The semantic and structured representation of this information enables its effective retrieval and the DDR analysis, significantly reducing the required effort and time.

摘要

Analysing Geomechanical events reported in Daily Drilling Reports (DDRs) is essential for operational planning to prevent non-productive time and economic losses. This work describes an automated tool that leverages natural language processing, ontologies and Knowledge Graphs to extract such events along with their contextual data. The semantic and structured representation of this information enables its effective retrieval and the DDR analysis, significantly reducing the required effort and time.
