Lesions of the main trunk of the supraclavicular nerve (SCN) are very common, but the diagnosis is regularly missed. The key to making the diagnosis is the finding of diminished sensation over the top of the shoulder in the area supplied by the SCN. The anatomy of the nerve and the three main branches are outlined in this chapter as well as the mechanism of injury and clinical presentation of SCN lesions.
