Realm of Senses is a Sensory Textile project between Art, Design and Sustainability as driver of innovation for interior and public spaces in a multi-sensory dialogue between souls. The scope of my research is defining a common thread between Textile and Sustainability, Interior and Public Spaces and offer to humans a new way to create emotional experiences. Using and knotting leftovers and reused fabrics I create “Sensory” and immersive experiences as textile art installations for private and public spaces that invite humans to sit and to breath, to feel the space outside and inside themselves. The aim of my sustainable research focuses on reusing, recycling and upcycling old clothes, leftover fabrics and reinventing them into new textile installations. Old curtains and reused fabrics are transformed into architecture, and the space where we live becomes a new hanging garden in a “Present” that is already the “Future” between senses and memories, in a meditation space. The textile installation is a place of light and colours, where term light contains the magic of birth and love. Everything starts from here. As if it were a quadrature of loving senses, here everything is energy, vibration, and frequency. Can Love be told by threads of fabric and can Love tell the Architecture of the city, its inhabitants, the emotions and the future of those who live there? I think so, as I had the chance to work with leftover fabrics in 2021, when I experienced an incredible formula of love in a space for Countless Cities Biennial. I was invited by Farm Cultural Park Italy, as Curator of the installation titled the “Five Senses of the Future”. A new formula defines the way to experience public spaces with a soulful meaning. We live together in this place of the senses, you and I, Love Humanity.
