In today’s economic world, businesses are expected to concentrate in not only profitability but also social responsibility and environmental sustainability. Social entrepreneurship, has emerged as a strong force for enhancing a positive change. However, these enterprises face unique challenges in designing and implementing sustainable supply chains that reduce environmental harm, promote social justice, and ensure economic viability. This paper explores the challenges and opportunities faced by social enterprises in designing and implementing sustainable supply chains. The study also develops a comprehensive framework for implementing sustainable supply chains. The framework was tested in real-world social enterprise settings, demonstrating its applicability and effectiveness. This research supports the existing body of knowledge on sustainable supply chain management and social entrepreneurship, providing social enterprises with a practical tool for enhancing their social, environmental, and economic impact.
