This study assesses the tourism dynamics and strategies for sustainability using a quantitative descriptive approach. Specifically, it considers the main tourism performance aspects such as travel organization, transport, accommodation, tourism services, shopping, and tour operations. It identifies financial leakages, socio-cultural concerns, and environmental and cultural heritage risks arising due to tourism. The paper further looks into the socio-economic impact of tourism in terms of job creation, domestic capacity building, and poverty reduction. Data were gathered from tour guides, tourists, hotel and resort staff, and DOT officers through the use of structured survey instruments. Descriptive statistical analyses were applied to interpret findings through the use of mean scores and standard deviations. Results indicate that premier tourist destinations are performing very well in terms of several aspects of managing tourism. However, serious issues still remain, such as financial leakages and risks to socio-cultural and environmental systems. Tourism has contributed much to job creation and poverty reduction, but efforts to enhance domestic capacity building remain insufficient. These findings underpin the need for sustainable tourism policies, stricter regulatory measures, and capacity-building initiatives. The study suggests a strategic framework that will mitigate the identified challenges while promoting inclusive and environmentally responsible tourism development.

摘要
