Software development process is complex, and it is not always possible to know all the current and future requirements upfront. Thus, its architecture and consequent development need to evolve over time for business adoption and market success. Agile and iterative processes are better suited than a Waterfall model to develop software products. We will discuss all these processes in this chapter. Furthermore, the development team may be split across multiple geographies. We will enumerate various players involved in such a development case. Their communications and expectations need to be managed dynamically that we will describe in detail including the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process. Lastly, we will conclude by various methods to test Cloud-based products.
