This paper describes the project “Creation of a Token (RumiCoin) in testnet to deliver rewards for the use of services in the Ceprobys (Centers of production of goods and services) of the Instituto Tecnológico Universitario Rumiñahui. The project aims to solve the problem of lack of user loyalty in the use of the Ceprobys and increase their use through rewards that can be redeemed. The main objective of the project is to implement a reward system through the creation of RumiCoin, a token developed and tested in the Amoy test network and used as a test environment for Polygon's PoS network. Various tools and technologies were used, including Solidity for smart contract development, Ganache for local testing and Polygon's Amoy Testnet for deployment. The result was the creation of Rumi-Coin, a token that demonstrates the feasibility and efficiency of the project, with low transaction costs and high scalability. In addition, the challenges encountered and how they were overcome were discussed. The research also suggests the possibility of using human DNA-based blockchain models to improve the flexibility and functionality of transactions and data storage in blockchain. It is concluded that the project not only provides an effective means of rewarding users, but also opens up new possibilities for the integration of blockchain technologies in educational environments.
