A Holistic Approach to Energy Consumption in Kuwait Academic Buildings: Energy Literacy, Behavior Change, and Technological Participation
摘要
This research describes a process of implementing energy efficiency and sustainability at the Australian University (AU) in Kuwait. The outlined steps and their respective outcomes are based on prior studies that examined key aspects of energy efficiency, including energy literacy assessments, behavior change interventions, energy-efficient technologies, and educational strategies. This concluding study integrates these steps into a cohesive and comprehensive process aimed at achieving sustainable energy practices at AU. The process’s objective is to provide a strategic and actionable roadmap that combines educational, behavioral, and technological interventions, while placing an emphasis on the interconnected nature of each phase. This holistic approach offers valuable insights for academic institutions striving to improve energy efficiency and promote sustainability.
