AI-Powered Intelligent Tutoring System for Game Design Document Writing

The increasing integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) in education presents both challenges and opportunities. This research focuses on the development and validation of an intelligent tutoring system that assists teachers and students in writing Game Design Documents (GDDs). The system is designed to improve clarity, organization and accessibility by providing contextual suggestions and refining the structure of the documents based on pedagogical needs. The solution evaluation will take place in public schools in Brazil, involving 40 teachers and 200 students, to analyze the influence of AI on the quality of GDDs. Through the analysis of prompt engineering strategies, this research identifies methodologies that can optimize the generation of GDDs, ensuring that AI acts as a support tool without replacing critical thinking skills. The results contribute to the integration of AI in education, offering practical contributions on its pedagogical applications.
