In this work we study the geometric structure of a globally hyperbolic asymptotically flat four-dimensional vacuum solution to Einstein field equations that contains a null line (that is, a complete achronal null geodesic). By imposing mild conditions on the causal structure of null infinity, we are able to show that such spacetime is globally flat and show that the achronal boundary of the line is simply connected.
