Generalized Net Model of the Cerebral Venous System in Healthy Individuals
摘要
A generalized net model of the cerebral venous system is described, which can serve as a model for successful learning and reference in physicians on training and for practicing neurologists. The anatomy and physiology of the cerebral sinuses and veins draining blood from the brain are described in detail. Emphasis is placed on the specifics of the cerebral venous circulation and the fact that it does not exactly repeat the course of the arterial circulation of the brain. Some applications of the model in the clinical practice are discussed. Attention has also been paid to the predisposition of the venous sinuses to venous thrombosis and the easier tendency to spread infections.
