Green Bonds and Their Role in Sustainable Development
摘要
Green bonds are essential financial instruments for promoting sustainable development goals (SDGs) and financing projects that benefit the environment. To investigate their function and influence, this chapter integrates case studies and bibliometric data. In order to uncover knowledge gaps and new areas of concentration, the bibliometric analysis looks into important contributions, major themes, and worldwide research trends in the green bond literature. The study emphasizes the development of green finance research and its relationship to sustainability through the use of bibliometric tools. To provide practical insights, case studies across sectors such as renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure are presented. These illustrate their implementation, challenges, and measurable environmental and social benefits. By integrating quantitative bibliometric insights with qualitative case studies, this chapter offers a comprehensive understanding of green bonds’ contributions to sustainable development.
