Positioning and Sensing Over Optical Wireless Networks
摘要
Optical wireless communication (OWC) is widely regarded as a key enabling technology for next-generation wireless networks (i.e., 6G and beyond). Its vast, license-free spectrum and immunity to RF interference make OWC a compelling complement to traditional radio systems, particularly in dense indoor deployments. Accordingly, this chapter examines positioning and sensing techniques in OWC, with a particular emphasis on visible light positioning (VLP).
