This chapter aims to analyze the climate change resilience in a new thriving tourism destination of Tan Hoa weather-adaptive tourism village in Vietnam, evaluate its benefits, and suggest some recommendations for other tourism destinations. The primary information came from interviews with 25 locals, 05 tourists, and 01 local government official. The finding showed that Tan Hoa—a disadvantaged village in the rural and remote areas of Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh Province turned the negative impacts of climate change into tourism development opportunities by developing climate change adaptive tourism products through providing diverse services for tourists. This model helped them survive in extreme weather conditions and created new jobs and relatively stable incomes for locals. It has also helped them understand the significance and practice of better forest protection and conservation, promoting rural and community-based values, products, and lifestyles, and promoting sustainable innovation.

摘要
