This chapter presents the findings of the third analysis on the use of lethal force in Colombia, a regional effort in which Fundación Ideas para la Paz (FIP) has participated since 2019. An overview on the colombian public forces’ structure, constitutional base, and the political and social context was considered over this analysis, which includes information form the previews reports comprising the period 2015-2022, pretending to rise more questions than conclusions on the use of lethal force in the country.
