The Terms of Our Existence: Can We Really Reimagine Our Future?
摘要
Reimagining our future requires us to renegotiate the terms of our collective existence—something societies do every few decades. Whether it’s Gandhi’s non-violence and civil disobedience, Mandela’s fight against apartheid, Martin Luther King Jr.’s struggle against segregation, or mass movements like Black Lives Matter, the Arab Spring challenging dictators, or people resisting genocide and dispossession, all of these are acts of negotiating the terms of our collective existence. The contributors to this book are seeking to reimagine a just and sustainable world through the framework of new eco-social contracts.
