Prosthetic-Based Breast Reconstruction
摘要
The most common method to reconstruct breasts after mastectomy is via the use of prosthetic devices. It is most often done in a staged manner with tissue expanders at the time of mastectomy, followed by replacement with permanent implants once adequate expansion has been achieved. Two approaches are subpectoral placement (below the pec major), and pre-prectoral (above the pec major).
