This section is devoted to equivariant homology theories. They are a key input in the general formulations of the Baum-Connes Conjecture and the Farrell-Jones Conjecture. If one only wants to understand these conjectures, one only needs to browse through the Definition 12.1 of a G-homology theory, nothing more is needed from this chapter. Since G-homology theories are of general importance, we have added more material to this section.
