The application of Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) in Pediatric Dentistry has now expanded to include the diagnosis and management of Traumatic Dental Injuries (TDIs) and its sequelae. The three-dimensional imaging capability of the CBCT facilitates assessment of crown-root fractures, luxation injuries, and root resorptions, often surpassing conventional radiography in diagnostic yield. The use of CBCT has made it possible to detect consequences of trauma such as root resorption at an early stage, which is critical to improving the prognosis of the affected tooth. The chapter familiarizes the clinician with basic CBCT terminologies such as Field of View (FOV), voxel size, and resolution. Additionally, the interpretation of CBCT scans, including axial, sagittal, coronal, and oblique slices, is detailed through illustrative case samples to guide clinicians in systematic reading.
