Traumatic dental injuries (TDIs) in the primary dentition, particularly the maxillary anterior teeth, are a common occurrence in children. This chapter outlines the diagnosis and clinical management of crown and crown-root fractures, root fractures, luxation injuries, and avulsions. The emphasis is on providing conservative treatment that alleviates symptoms and minimizing the risk of damage to the developing permanent teeth. This chapter also details the potential sequelae to permanent teeth, including enamel defects, eruption disturbances, dilacerations, and odontoma-like malformations, underscoring the importance of long-term monitoring and interdisciplinary management.
