Legal Aspects of Digital Mobility Services Provided Within an Ecosystem
摘要
This chapter delineates and articulates a proposed definition of a digital mobility service, elaborating on the various types of services involved and thoroughly examining the assumptions underlying the formulation of this definition. This definition has been constructed in the absence of specific legislation, while considering business models that signify a transition towards a ‘service-centric’ paradigm. These models address the legal relationships between the manufacturers of semi- and fully autonomous vehicles and third parties operating within an established ecosystem. The discussion of the types of digital mobility services is followed by an analysis of the legal framework governing their provision. Within the scope of this analysis, the material scope of the different types of services, the demographics of their recipients, and the modalities of service delivery were duly considered.
