Reserach Groups (RGs) in higher education are essential to fostering collaboration, generating knowledge, innovation, technological development, and improving academic quality. However, the need for more information systems for their management hinders collaboration, causes duplication of efforts, and limits the visibility of results. This study presents the development of a module for managing RGs in a higher education institution to streamline administrative processes, improve collaboration and data management, and provide comprehensive reports for decision-making. The module includes four sub-modules: Creation, execution, and debugging of groups; management of researchers; queries, reports, and dashboards. By integrating them into the existing System, the institution can achieve data consistency, automate routine tasks, and increase the visibility of research products, thus fostering an effective research environment. To achieve this, we use the Design Science Research methodology and the agile SCRUM development framework, which allow the management and development of complex projects through an iterative and incremental approach. For back-end development, we used Spring Boot and Oracle. Angular and Visual Studio Code are used as the integrated development environment for front-end development. Preliminary tests show user satisfaction, particularly for its ease of use, intuitive functionalities, and positive impact on daily research activities. The results indicate significant improvements in the management of RGs, with fast registration, consultation, and approval processes that lead to monitoring research activities and timely updates.

摘要
