Systematic Methodology to Support Learner Academic Performance in Virtual Learning Environments
摘要
This article proposes a methodology for optimizing instructional design in Virtual Learning Environments. This approach aims to combine the iterative and flexible structure of SAM (Successive Approximation Model), with the systematic framework of PACIE (Presence, Achieving, Capacity development, Interaction, E-learning) and the motivational orientation model of ARCS (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, and Satisfaction). The main goal is to enhance the online educational experience, capturing the learner’s initial attention by implementing an accessible and welcoming virtual environment. The proposed methodology establishes clear and relevant objectives that align with the expectations and needs of the students and academic content. It promotes a collaborative environment, using tools that allow effective communication between students and teachers. Finally, it focuses on the practical application of the knowledge acquired, ensuring that students not only achieve the learning objectives but also feel satisfied with their online educational experience.
