The Far-Right Involvement in Euromaidan, the Maidan and Odesa Massacres, and the Donbas War
摘要
This chapter analyzes the involvement of radical nationalist and neo-Nazi organizations in Euromaidan, the Maidan and Odesa massacres, and the war in Donbas in Ukraine. It shows that far-right involvement in these violent conflicts was significant but not dominant, with the exception of the Odesa massacre. The analysis demonstrates that the far right had relatively small membership and electoral support but outsize role in these conflicts and influence in Ukraine because of their reliance on violence and their armed formations.
