The Legitimisation of Psychiatric Measures Against a Person’s Will
摘要
Psychiatric measures against a person’s will require special justification. Ultimately, these are medical measures that must serve a purpose that helps the person concerned from a health perspective. The chapter provides an overview of the development of justification strategies in the history of psychiatry and addresses, in particular, the justification of psychiatric coercion in the current phase of person-centred mental health care.
