As an important place for teaching and scientific research, the university library is the main center of academic exchange and cultural dissemination and bears significant social value in serving readers. With the rapid development of information technology, the traditional service model of libraries has become difficult to meet the diverse needs of readers, making it urgent to transform and upgrade the service functions of efficient libraries. To this end, this paper designs a smart library service platform for universities based on intelligent recommendation and optimizes the corresponding intelligent recommendation service algorithm. Tests have shown that the system can find different representations of authors’ names and distinguish different authors who share the same name, and the system performance is relatively stable.
