To effectively enhance the effectiveness of English teaching, this study designed an English micro-lecture interactive platform based on information technology. This platform primarily consists of two parts: a mini-program end and a backend management system. The mini-program end encompasses a course information module, a key vocabulary module, a practice test module, and a discussion forum module, all of which facilitate interactivity in classroom instruction. The backend management system, on the other hand, comprises an information management module, a resource management module, a system management module, and a discussion forum management module, primarily used for managing various functional modules. Additionally, this study selected “My Classroom” from the fourth-grade primary school English textbook (PEP Edition) to design a classroom teaching session, aiming to provide a model for similar classroom teaching designs.
