Determination and Prioritization of Indicators Affecting Climate Change Using Spherical Fuzzy AHP Approach
摘要
The environmental problems caused by global climate change, the greatest threat of the 21st century, have recently become more apparent to humanity, and international efforts have increased to cope with this situation. The level of impact of climate change on each country varies depending on its location, vulnerability, and the measures it takes. When Turkey’s climate structure and climate change are considered, it is seen that the risk of desertification in the future is high. Many different indicators determine the level of climate change. The heavy economic burden of combating climate change requires determining the weights of these indicators and developing policies accordingly. This research aims to define and prioritize climate change indicators specific to Turkey by applying the spherical fuzzy analytical hierarchy method. Following a thorough literature review and feedback from the decision-makers group, the primary and sub-criteria were identified, and the sub-criteria were ranked accordingly. Suggestions are made depending on the results obtained. The results are thought to benefit policymakers in combating climate change.
