Students’ satisfaction with the educational process is inextricably linked with the degree of realization of their individual abilities in the learning process, and therefore requires evaluation, monitoring and analysis of the reasons that interfere with the harmonious development and formation of future professionals. To evaluate students’ satisfaction with the educational process, it is necessary to take into account the reliability of the information coming from them, so an apparatus based on Z-numbers is objectively necessary. Initial information is formed on the basis of a direct survey of students on several indicators, for which linguistic scales are used. Linguistic scale is also used to evaluate the reliability of information. In evaluating each indicator, students choose one of the scale levels used for that indicator and one of the levels of the linguistic scale to evaluate the reliability of the information. After formalizing the information obtained in the form of linguistic variables, the information for each student is presented in the form of a set of Z-numbers, the number of which corresponds to the number of evaluated indicators. As a result of the operation with Z-numbers, one Z-number is obtained, which is an evaluation of the satisfaction of a particular student with the educational process. When monitoring these evaluations in different periods, aggregating indicators for Z-number components are used. If the evaluation of satisfaction does not reach the required level, then the student’s evaluations for each indicator are analyzed with subsequent control actions aimed at eliminating the causes that led to their decrease.
