In the coming years, artificial intelligence (AI) is expected to have a significant impact on our daily lives and professions. One of the sectors most affected in the short term will be education. With AI technologies increasingly capable of making autonomous decisions, traditional approaches to student learning must be reexamined. As AI tools begin to handle some of the tasks traditionally performed by educators, and as students start using these tools more frequently, the role of teachers in the classroom is likely to shift. Given this context, it is essential to develop AI literacy among both educators and learners at all educational levels. Understanding how AI tools work will enable them to adapt more effectively and make informed decisions about their use. This involves teaching students’ fundamental concepts such as perception, representation, reasoning, learning, and the broader impacts of AI. The study focuses on evaluating the use of AI technologies in teaching and professional development programs designed for educators in 2025.
