ChatGPT enhances new forms of assessment and feedback in higher education. It allows exams to be personalized and tailored to the needs of each student and the unexpired content. This contributes to the improvement of student's academic performance to the extent that it also speeds up teachers’ time in evaluating the oriented activities. All this requires ethical precisions that favor self-management of knowledge, self-authorship, and using ChatGPT as a guide or virtual tutor. It is necessary to implement strategies that promote accessibility, inclusion, data protection, and fair and innovative evaluation. This article was carried out with a documentary review approach that allowed the fundamental systematization of updated sources on ChatGPT, artificial intelligence in education, evaluation, and feedback. Automated learning assessment complements the work of teachers and contributes to the design of measurable parameters or indicators to evaluate and grade student reports.
