This chapter concludes with the author’s proposal of a biopsychosocial model for analyses of many religious founders and the theologies. I offer personal comments about how I came to accept this analytical model, then the resistance to it that I have experienced from some sociologists and religious studies scholars, as well as from some religious groups themselves.
