Several methods are used in contemporary philosophy. This chapter, however, considers them and argues that they are inadequate. They are the methods of analytic philosophy, which assumes that philosophy is not acquisition of knowledge. Philosophy as acquisition of knowledge needs a different method.

摘要

Several methods are used in contemporary philosophy. This chapter, however, considers them and argues that they are inadequate. They are the methods of analytic philosophy, which assumes that philosophy is not acquisition of knowledge. Philosophy as acquisition of knowledge needs a different method.
