A Support Method to Develop Interactive Applications of Novel Devices by Using Network Analysis Approach

In recent years, there has been active development of devices with highly interactive functions, such as smartphones, interactive robots, head-mounted displays, and displays capable of pseudo 3D display. When developers try to integrate these to develop new applications, they face difficulties such as finding appropriate combinations of devices at the functional level, API level of Software Development Kits (SDKs), and more complex mixtures of these levels. To address these issues, this study utilizes network analysis approach based on the similarity of the functional characteristics of each device, integrating link prediction as a method to support new application development. The proposed method is implemented as a tool, and a study is conducted using the tool, which implements the development support method based on the results of link prediction using four types of index scores for sixteen representative interactive devices.
