From Ruins to Resurrection: The Cyclical Fate of Odessa’s Сultural Heritage
摘要
The article contains a brief retrospective of a complex history of the main architectural symbols and monuments of cultural heritage of the city of Odessa (Ukraine) which were created with the participation of outstanding European architects (including architects of Italian origin) and which were recently included in the UNESCO Lists of Cultural Heritage, as well as the history of their repeated destructions with subsequent reconstruction, which continues to this day, during the Russian-Ukrainian war.
