Mobile Ad-hoc networks (MANETs) have over time embedded themselves to become an indispensable aspect of existence. Efficiently operating MANETs are therefore essential. This study suggests a technique to enhance the QoS of a Mobile Ad-hoc network by merging the idea of fractals with that of genetic algorithms to create an optimal packet scheduling algorithm for MANETs. Packet scheduling constitutes a core component of a MANET's QoS. Thus, we propose a system where packets receive service classes according to their priority and delay. After the service class of a packet is established, the scheduling takes place utilizing a modified genetic algorithm. Simulations were conducted using the network simulation tool NS3, and the outcomes were documented.

摘要
